Mesa College has long been a source of the most
exceptional teachers for Torah High (Dr. Phelan, Dr. Klipple, etc.)
and this year is no exception as Torah High welcomes to its faculty,
Mrs. Linh Pham, our new Honors Physics teacher. It comes as no
surprise to her students that Mrs. Pham has been rated as one of Mesa
College's top teachers. She has taught advanced courses in physics
and engineering (at UCSD and Mesa College), received her BS and
Masters from UCSD, and will shortly be completing her Ph.D. at UCSD.
Her dissertation title "A Numerical Investigation of Turbulent
Dispersion in Stably Stratified Homogeneous Flows" gives you
just a small glimpse of the magnitude of her scholarship. She has
published widely, presented at numerous conferences, and has been
repeatedly recognized for her scholarship and pedagogic skills. Her
clear and precise method of teaching, enthusiasm for learning,
commitment to education, and concern for her students have made her a
much beloved and respected teacher at Torah High. Welcome!
