Exceptionally
bright, knowledgeable, and above all patient and warm, our College
Guidance Counselor, Mrs. Beth Behnke, brings a breath of fresh air to
the daunting college application process. Mrs. Behnke is a native San
Diegan (which accounts for her sunny disposition) who received her
B.A. in Physical Education with a minor in Psychology, and her
Masters in Guidance and Counseling from SDSU. When not at Torah High,
Mrs. Behnke moonlights as Director of College Counseling at La Jolla
High (where she has been since 1980). The girls have greatly enjoyed
working with her, and she has been impressed and inspired by the
motivation of our girls.
