Dormitory
|
The dormitory is located in a
comfortable private house and is supervised by warm, caring dorm
supervisors. All meals are home cooked and lovingly prepared by our
dorm supervisors. The dorm shares a private pool with three other
observant families, and the girls have hours available for private
separate swimming.
|
Our out-of-town students are blessed
with a wonderfully warm and supportive environment in which to grow and
blossom. Interested students and their parents are invited to visit the
dormitory, meet our dorm supervisor, and see first-hand the dorm
experience
Shabbos
Shabbos is a special time in the
dormitory. Meals are eaten either in the dormitory or at the home of
one of the local Rabbis. There are also Friday night Onegs held for the
girls. Shalosh Seudos is eaten each week at the home of Mrs. Peikes. In
addition, the girls are graciously included in the activities of the
local synagogue Beth Jacob.
Homework Center
|
The homework
center provides professional tutoring for any subject offered by the
school. The tutoring center will generally be open five nights a week.
Teachers will email pending or missing assignments to the center, as
well as a list of specific skills that need reinforcement.
